I Am Nobody, also known as "IAN" (not to be confused with the name Ian), has played a LOT of video games and currently authors a frequently-updating blog with reviews and writeups on many of them. In particular, he spotlights a lot of indie games, and includes plenty of visuals to communicate the feel of the game. A great site to check out if you're looking for something to play! His writeups are pointed and detailed in such a way that even if he doesn't particularly like a game, his writeup may convince YOU to play it if it happens to be something you might like.
IAN also helped set up and host the now-retired vgfamily.com website, which helped serve as a platform for this community for a time.
